Global4PL Principals Named 2010 “Provider Pros to Know”

SANTA CLARA, CA - March 18, 2010 - Sergio Retamal, President and Founder of Global4PL, a leading supply chain solutions provider that specializes in helping companies optimize operations and reduce operation costs, is named as a "Pro to Know" for the fourth consecutive year by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. Global4PL deserves added recognition this year because a second principal of the company, Jeff Chiu, Vice President, receives the same honor.

Global4PL continues its string of awards over the past few years, including the "Green Supply Chain" for two consecutive years and other supply chain industry awards. This is the second time in Global4PL’s history where its two main Principals have garnered this award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive in the same year.

Mr. Retamal has over 20 years of professional experience in all aspects of the global supply chain.  Mr. Retamal has become one of the most influential leaders in the industry. He holds a Masters degree in Change Management from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business, and an MBA in International Business from California State University, Northridge.

Mr. Chiu is a licensed US Customs Broker and possesses over 14 years of experience in import / export operations and compliance, with emphases on internal CBP and BIS audits, commodity classification, tariff engineering, trade programs, rulings and training. Mr. Chiu holds a Bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and has advanced his studies at the Université de Bordeaux III in France.
